Our retro bar in Châtelet (Paris 4e) is the rebel child of the O’Sullivans family; that’s why we named it O’Sullivans Rebel Bar. Loud, proud and always up to mischief, Rebel Bar is one of the best festive bars in the 4th arrondissement.
Retro décor, Irish wooden bar, rock ’n’ roll vibes, pool table, historical underground area, smoking room… This lively Irish bar welcomes an eclectic crowd, every day, from 5 p.m.… until late.
During its younger years, the Rebel Bar hosted performances from “la Troupe du Splendid”, a famous theatre group created by renowned French actors such as Thierry Lhermite and Josiane Balasko. But that’s not all!
Its underground vaulted ceiling also welcomed rebel figures and politicians, such as Fidel Castro (Cuban revolutionary) and Salvador Allende (former president of Chile). Get a closer look at our pool room: these personalities left some scribbles and messages on the walls…
